What is ITC-100HT Ceramic Coatings?
ITC-100HT is a versatile high temperature coating rated up to 5,000℉ proven to achieve outstanding energy savings and refractory protection. The coating is used as a covering for ceramic fiber insulation, castable, or brick refractory. The material works by reflecting radiant heat back into the furnace, kiln, or forge to achieve high temperatures quickly and efficiently. ITC-100HT improves the IR reflectivity of all furnace linings while improving fuel efficiency and overall throughput. Use the coating as a standalone product or a base coat for other ITC coatings.
Applied by sprayer or brush after diluting with one part water to two parts ITC-100HT.

ITC-100HT – HARD REFRACTORY AND BRICK INSTALLATION
ITC-100HT – FIBER MODULE INSTALLATION

What is ITC-296A Ceramic Top Coating?
ITC-296A is a high purity ceramic top coating that resists deposits from firing gasses and contact with molten metals to provide a clean firing. This clean firing minimizes impurities in gloss kilns and molten metal operations while increasing energy efficiency as heat is reflected back into the furnace or melt. This reflection results in higher temperatures, lower fuel cost, and shorter process times. 296A also aids in the reduction of contamination from previous firings and byproducts. The coating is typically used as a top coat and applied over a base coat of ITC 100, 200EZ, or 213.
Applied by spraying or brushing.Mix 1/2 pint to 1 pint ITC base mix. 100-200 ft2 per mixed gallon coverage rate.

What is ITC-148 Heavy Duty Ceramic Repair?
ITC-148 is a strong abrasion-resistant compound for repairing areas exposed to harsh environments and mechanical abuse such as tundishes, ladles, troughs, crucibles, and door jambs. 148 is a great solution for extending equipment life until planned shut down windows. Additionally, ITC-296A can be applied as a top coat to provide greater durability and extended equipment life even further.
Applied by diluting ~1/8 pt. to 1 pt. base mix. Coverage is the volume of the container purchased.
ITC-148 needs to be mixed with ITC 100HT to the desired consistency, putty to mortar. The area needing to repaired is to be coated with ITC 100HT first and allowed to air dry for several hours. After the repair material is installed it should dry for 24 hours. Once dried it needs to be coated with ITC 100HT or ITC 296A.

What is ITC-200EZ Ceramic Fill?
ITC-200EZ is an excellent durable solution for repairing broken, chipped, or cracked bricks, castables, and fiber material. The trowelable compound bonds rapidly and eliminates need for costly re-bricking and re-lining while minimizing down time. This coating makes the repair of old equipment economical and efficient. Product is typically applied over a base coat of ITC-100HT.
Applied by spatula, putty, or trowel. Product comes ready to apply over a fresh coating of ITC-100HT.

What is ITC-213 Graphite & Metal Coating?
Featured on our Graphite Coatings page, ITC-213 is an outstanding coating specially formulated to protect graphite and metals including heating elements and exposure to molten metals. The coating aids in preventing erosion, oxidation, and fatigue from prolonged use at elevated temperatures. This coating can be used alone, or as a base coat for other ITC coating products.
Applied using a rag after pre-mixing to get full suspension. Prepare one part water to three parts ITC base mix or 1/3 of a container to a full container of the coating. Please note coated metal will not weld.
